Chinese food is my frienemy

Well well well…we meet again young chinese food….

Good morning! Yesterday I gave into temptation and went and got chinese food with my sister and dad. While so very delicious, I am now paying for it today.

But I figure, we all need to eat bad things every once in a while (it’s good for the soul ;) ) but that just means that the next day, do an extra 1/2 hour of cardio or swap some raw veggies for your typical midday snack. It’s about give and take.

So today my goal is to really focus on what I am putting into my body. This morning started off with Double Fiber bread toasted with 1/2 cup cottage cheese on top. Then a sliced up peach and 3/4 cup almond milk. I’m not sure I like the cottage cheese on top. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted damn good, but it was hard to eat because the cheese was way to heavy. Imagine that lol.

Jumproping = new favorite workout

Oh. My. Gosh.

I gotta say, doing mere MINUTES of jumprope had me more sweaty and out of breath than doing an hour on the treadmill. Seriously! I was watching Two and a Half Men, and on commercial breaks did jumprope, and I felt as though my arms were going to fall off, and my heart was going to explode out of my chest!

That, combined with some arm workouts, had me feeling that much more energetic and like I had done something good for myself.

Buuuut then I crashed. So what is a girl to do?

Dessert!

A big glass of Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk/a big ol’ dash of cinnamon and 2 sugar free fruit popsicles.
